Volterra Urban Trekking

A guided tour to discover the nature, history and archaeology of Volterra. During the tour we will highlight the natural history and landscape description, as well as the interactions between man and natural resources throughout historical eras.

What to bring: Please wear sports shoes (no heels, flip-flops or platforms).
Optional: trekking poles.

Tour details:
This walking tour is entirely outdoors. This tour takes place on dirt paths, paved roads, and cobblestones; there are inclines present and we will be walking uphill and downhill.

Narrow steps are also present along the trail. This walking tour is not accessible with strollers or wheelchairs.

Children can participate if they are used to this type of activity and can keep up with the group. All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
