Museo della Tortura

The museum collects torture and capital execution machines both original and remade. 
You can discover the technology and cruelty of past centuries through descriptions and engravings, prints and old paintings

These items come from all over Europe; some of them are rare and dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries, or perfect copies of hard to find originals from the 1800s and 1900s. Complex machinery shows how human imagination and intelligence had no limits in the research for instruments of torture.
