The Sterza river

An area rich in nature and history

Small waterfalls and natural pools liven up the pristine path of the river Sterza. Discover the beautiful routes and paths around the river and soak up the nature and history of this land.
You can even take a dip if you’re looking to freshen up in the hot summer months!

Ways of exploiting
The most significant stretch of the creek is discovered through the Trail in the Caselli Forest, “The Caselli Waterfall and the Renzano Forest“. The confluence with the Ritasso torrent and the stretch immediately upstream that can be reached through the path “The ring of Poggio Castiglione: an ancient mining railroad in the gulley of the Ritasso stream” is also of great interest.
