    A sensory experience among hills, history and wine.

    This proposal consists of a 4 day / 3 night tour with accommodation in hotel*** or hotel**** and is designed to let tourists enjoy an intimate experience of three of the most popular towns in Tuscany along with a very special day among the vineyards in Montalcino.

    Program

    DAY 1

    h. 10.30 arrival in Pisa. Guided visit of Piazza dei Miracoli with entrance in the Cathedral and Monumentary Cemetery
    h. 13.00 lunch in Pisa, near the Leaning Tower
    h. 14.30 departure for Volterra
    h. 16.00 visit of an alabaster craft-shop: you cannot talk about Volterra without mentioning Alabaster, an artistic handicraft that boasts a centuries-old history and a nobility of traditions that can be felt in every nook and corner of the town
    h. 17.00 check-in at your hotel in Volterra and free time
    h. 20.00 dinner in hotel and overnight stay

    DAY 2

    h. 9.00 visit of Volterra, a heaven of Etruscan, Roman, Medieval and Rennaissance art, which dominates the Cecina Valley and beginning of the guided tour of the town: Piazza Priori, Piazza S.Giovanni, Cathedral, Roman Theatre and the Etruscan Museum
    h. 13.00 lunch in a restaurant of the city-centre
    h. 14.30 arrival in San Gimignano and guided tour of the city. This town, almost intact, preserved the medieval fascination; nowadays it remains only 15 of the 72 towers, unbroken or cropped, but enough to give an unmistakable mark to the town. Guided tour of the city and free time
    h. 19.00 dinner in a country restaurant
    h. 21.30 departure for Volterra and overnight stay

    DAY 3

    h. 9.00 departure for the Crete senesi (Siennese clays), where the distinctive grey colouration of the soil gives the landscape an appearance often described as lunar and in some seasons even… sensual
    h. 11:00 in Montalcino you will visit the cellars where the best Tuscan wines are born, you will taste the selections: from Rosso to Brunello
    h. 13:00 Light Lunch in Montalcino, the city of Brunello, one of the most famous and evocative names for lovers of good drinking. The Borgo is very characteristic, you will have free time to visit it and go shopping!
    h. 15.30 departure for the gorgeous Abbazia di Sant’Antimo, one of the oldest abbeys in Italy
    h. 17.30 departure for Volterra dinner in hotel
