The synthesis of mankind, environment, territory and landscape finds a particular strength in the geothermal areas of Tuscany. In Pomarance, Castelnuovo Val di Cecina, Monteverdi Marittimo, Montecatini Val di Cecina and the near provinces of Siena and Grosseto farmers combined their experience with the geothermal energy, creating the “Clean Taste”.
The food community and that of renewable energy have the same goal: obtain good tasting and eco-friendly local products, thanks to the collaboration between Slow Food and Cosvig.
Farmers belonging to the project Gusto Pulito (Clean Taste) in the geothermal area of the Province of Pisa are the following: Fattoria dell’Antica Filiera (farm in Castelnuovo Val di Cecina), Villa Magra (in Santa Luce), Panificio F.lli Martini (Bakery in Montegemoli, Pomarance), Vapori di Birra (in Sasso Pisano), Terre Calde di Toscana (in Pomarance).
